BASIC MISO SOUP RECIPE

Everyone loves a good miso soup. The most common way to get a delicious miso soup is at good Japanese/sushi restaurants, which typically serve them as starters and/or with entrees. However, sometimes, you just want to make one at home as a quick snack or comfort food. For such special occasions, we are going to list below ingredients and a recipe for a basic miso soup.
This basic miso soup recipe is a good go-to for a quick soup, or can serve as a starter for more elaborate soups by adding other ingredients, such as mushrooms, proteins (chicken, beef, or pork), or other veggies or condiments.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 scallions
- 2 cups of water
- 4 TSP of miso paste (we use Cold Mountain’s Light Yellow Miso soy bean paste, Japanese style Shiro Miso, which we find at our local Publix or on Amazon)
